About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient setting. The role records patient histories, performs diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. The nurse assists physicians during examinations and procedures and operates and monitors medical equipment as necessary. This position is in the Endoscopy specialty at the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The posting also notes that separate circulator and PACU positions are available.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
• Be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice; Wisconsin RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
