About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its General Surgery Ambulatory team in Lafayette, Indiana. The nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered outpatient care to a diverse surgical and bariatric patient population across the surgical continuum. The role includes phone triage, care coordination, patient education, inbox management, and clinical support, in collaboration with surgeons, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams. The position follows a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and does not require travel between sites. Requirements

Associate of Nursing (ASN).
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates without graduation from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they have more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Awareness and understanding of the legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
