About The Position

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a part-time or full-time Registered Nurse to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home. Our Registered Nurse is an essential part of our Medical team and is responsible for caring for patients of various ages: infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, great telephone etiquette, computer knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations are essential.

Requirements

• South Dakota RN license

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients of various ages: infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
• Working in various departments such as medical, surgical, and emergency room areas.
• Dealing with unpleasant environmental situations resulting from patient care or patient activity.
• Working with a variety of medical equipment including, but not limited to: defibrillator/cardioversion equipment, suction equipment, IV pumps, chest tubes, feeding pumps, and portable cardiac monitors.
