About The Position

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a Nurse Assistant to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home. Our Nurse Assistant is an essential part of our Medical team and is responsible for performing routine and non-routine duties as directed by the nursing staff. This may include, but not limited to: answering call lights promptly, giving AM/PM care to patients (including baths, shampoo, oral care, personal hygiene, shaving, nail care). Prepare patients for meals, assist with meals, take and record vital signs, measure intake and outputs, ambulate patients, give backrubs, reposition patients in and out of chairs. Assists patients on admission, transfer, and discharge. Reports change in patient condition. Makes frequent rounds and observes patients and completes required documentation in EMR. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, great telephone etiquette, computer knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations are essential. CPR certification is required.
