About The Position
This position is located in a Long Term Care facility with a capacity of 26 beds/residents. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system utilized is Matrix. The Nurse will serve in a charge role, overseeing medication administration and wound care. Common diagnoses and patient conditions include: Heart disease, Diabetes, and Dementia. Physician availability after hours is by phone on-call. Physical Therapy services are available as needed, alongside a designated Social Worker. Respiratory therapy is not on-site 24/7. Oxygen therapy is available through concentrators and portable equipment. The charting system utilized is MatrixCare/Matrix. Requirements
- Experience in Long Term Care is required
- BLS Certification is mandatory
