About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Urology Clinic at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. The nurse will provide specialized, direct patient care as part of a collaborative clinical team serving the military community.

This is a full-time opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), PTO, and sick leave.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 1 year of RN experience within the last 2 years.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification, or ability to obtain both within the first 2 months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Specialty Clinic or Urology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Urology Clinic.
• Assist with cystoscopies, catheter placement, and urologic procedures.
• Monitor patients and administer prescribed treatments.
• Educate patients about urologic conditions and post-procedure care.
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments.
