Registered Nurse - Stroke/Urology
About The Position
The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This position is in Stroke/Urology at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and is scheduled for 12-hour shifts, three days per week, on a day shift. The schedule includes weekdays and weekends.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current additional certifications as required by the department.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
- At least 6 months of RN experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
