About The Position
Family Pillars Homecare is hiring Registered Nurses and/or LPN Nurses with IV Certification for nursing shifts in Melbourne, Florida. Available shifts are 12 hours, either 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.; visits and hourly shifts are also available. The position pays $35.00 per hour and up for hourly shifts, depending on patient care plans. Pay rates vary and are confirmed when scheduling. Nurses are paid as W-2 employees. Clinicians are provided with Medivox, an AI-powered documentation assistant that uses secure voice capture to help complete visit notes, reduce charting time and corrections, and support work-life balance.
Requirements
- Valid Florida RN or LPN nursing license, or a compact license.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
- Florida-required continuing education units (CEUs).
- Physical health form dated within the last six months.
- Negative TB skin test, chest X-ray, or QuantiFERON-TB Gold blood test (QFT-Plus) results.
- Level 2 background clearance verifiable in ACHA.
- Ability to speak English clearly.
- Good driving record.
- Reliable transportation and proof of car insurance.
- Professionalism and punctuality.
- IV certification for the RN and/or LPN nurses being hired.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care during 12-hour shifts, including wound care, IV administration, medication management, and patient assessments.
- Provide shift-based care for patients who need extended clinical support.
- Monitor and document patient condition and progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to update care plans.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA.
- Follow infection control standards and agency protocols.
