About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring Registered Nurses to join its home care team in Billerica, Massachusetts, and surrounding Merrimack Valley communities. The role is intended for nurses seeking a change from hospital or facility-based nursing and offers an independent position supporting seniors in their homes. The employer welcomes experienced home care, home health, and case management nurses, as well as registered nurses looking to transition into home care.

The nurse conducts in-home assessments and reassessments, creates and updates individualized care plans, and supervises home health aides, CNAs, and caregivers. The role also involves ensuring caregivers follow care plans, monitoring their performance and compliance, providing education and training, communicating with clients, families, and office staff, and completing timely and accurate documentation. The position contributes to quality care and client safety.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home nursing assessments and reassessments.
