About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission through discharge. The role reviews and documents care provided, patient outcomes, and evaluations of care; follows professional standards of care; and applies evidence, professional standards, critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices to bedside caregiving. The nurse prioritizes care according to changing assessments and patient needs and maintains ongoing communication with physicians and other hospital departments.

This position is in the 4 North Tower Medical Surgical, Oncology and Palliative Care unit. It is part-time, scheduled 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
