About The Position

As a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Services, you will provide focused, compassionate care to patients receiving cardiac services as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team. The role offers the opportunity to build specialized cardiac knowledge while contributing to each patient’s care and experience.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current RN license or eligibility to practice in Wisconsin.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to patients receiving cardiac services.
• Assess patient needs and monitor for changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely according to established procedures.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in cardiac status.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, providers, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, and ongoing care.
• Prepare patients for procedures and support them throughout their care experience.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
