Registered Nurse - Atrium Health Lincoln Float Pool I FT Days. This is a full-time position with benefits eligible status. The schedule is 36 hours per week, typically 7a-7p, with rotating weekends and holidays per policy. The pay range is $38.20 - $57.30. The role involves engaging in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families throughout the continuum of care. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, mobilizing resources, collaborating with the care team, and upholding a culture of safety. The nurse will continuously evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed. This role may involve administering medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols. Effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution are essential for fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation. The nurse is expected to pursue professional development, complete required education, and maintain certifications, adhering to the ANA Code of Ethics and practicing ethical decision-making. Appropriate delegation to other healthcare professionals is required. Accurate and timely EHR documentation is necessary. A key aspect of this role is the requirement to float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs. The nurse must demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate for the age of the patients served, understanding the principles of growth and development over the life span and possessing the ability to assess and interpret data reflective of patient needs relative to age-specific requirements.
