The iFlex RN is part of Intermountain’s internal travel agency for assignments. This is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. This RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. Our iFlex RNs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility. Exciting Pediatric Nursing Opportunity! Join Our Internal Travel RN Team at Primary Children’s Hospital Intermountain Health’s iFlex Internal Travel Agency is now hiring for a Registered Nurse – Pediatric Specialty position at the new Primary Children’s Hospital. Primary Children's Hospital is the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in a five-state region. Our facility includes a 32-bed PICU, 16-bed CICU, 28-bed Neuro Trauma Unit, and a 50-bed Level IV NICU. With over 1,500 neonatal and pediatric transports each year, our hospital is recognized for its commitment to excellence in pediatric care. About the iFlex RN Role: Pediatric Cardiac Care As an iFlex RN, you'll be part of Intermountain Health’s internal travel agency, supporting high-priority pediatric cardiac care needs primarily at the Salt Lake City Campus. This role demands pediatric expertise, adaptability, and a deep commitment to delivering compassionate, family-centered care to children across a range of specialties.

Requirements

  • 2 years of recent pediatric acute RN experience
  • Current RN license in the state of Utah
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Specialty certifications (e.g., CPN, CCRN) encouraged

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized pediatric nursing care across medical, surgical, or critical care units
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families
  • Accurately monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses
  • Ensure a safe, healing environment for children at every stage of treatment
