About The Position

The Registered Nurse will provide emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in an Emergency Room. The role requires flexibility to work variable 12-hour day and night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as needed. The nurse must adapt to low-census and on-call requirements and changing Emergency Department needs. The position requires an active Minnesota RN license, at least two years of recent ER experience, and at least one prior travel nursing assignment. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience.
• At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment.
• Current AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or applicable nursing education.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius.
• Ability to work variable 12-hour day/night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as needed.
• Adaptability to low-census/on-call requirements and changing Emergency Department needs.
• Strong critical thinking, emergency assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Trauma Center experience strongly preferred.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
