You will care for patients with complex, multi-system diagnoses (e.g., pneumonia, COPD, CHF, renal failure, liver failure, cellulitis, GI bleeds, addiction, diabetes, COVID), supported by General Internal Medicine teaching services and various subspecialties. You will gain training for acute and progressive care, prioritizing critical thinking, continuous learning, and seamless transitions of care through excellent communication and collaboration with case managers, social workers, pharmacists, and therapists.
