About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg | Post Surgical department at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. The position is full-time, working day shifts. The nurse will deliver high-quality direct nursing care by executing physician orders and clinical protocols to ensure every patient receives safe, evidence-based treatment. They will also serve as the central clinical coordinator for the multidisciplinary team, managing the implementation of care plans and providing real-time updates on patient condition. Additionally, the nurse will facilitate a seamless transition through the healthcare system by assessing discharge needs and collaborating with the team to prepare patients for their next stage of recovery.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
