Registered Nurse (Nursing)
About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Postpartum unit (5WC) at 649A FCC. The schedule varies, with shifts from 7pm to 7am, and weekend shifts are required. A minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty is required, along with AHA BLS and NRP certifications. Travelers are preferred due to the high volume and fast pace of the unit. Northside Holiday Expectations include working 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve). Compliance requirements include having the required certifications and a badge photo by Wednesday prior to the Monday start date.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty (Postpartum nursing).
- Required AHA BLS certification.
- Required NRP certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a travel nurse is preferred due to high volume/pace.
