About The Position

Lovelace Women’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night-shift, PRN Post Partum Couplet Care role in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The RN is responsible and accountable for professional nursing practice, including patient care and staff management assigned to the nurse. The RN may serve as Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice. The role requires adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations to support compliance and patient safety.

Lovelace Women’s Hospital includes a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the state’s first robotic surgery program recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation. The employer notes potential eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and relocation assistance.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• Valid New Mexico nursing license or New Mexico compact license within 90 days of hire.
• Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
• The department may also require ACLS and/or PALS.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Two years of experience in a specialty.
• Two years of general nursing experience.
