About The Position
The Registered Nurse - PCU role requires strong Stepdown/PCU experience. The nurse will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed and work every other weekend. At this facility, Sundays are not considered weekends. Parking permit options and costs are described in the posting, including WMC, WB, and CXS permits.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience
- Strong Stepdown/PCU experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Telemetry skills
- PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience or skills
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Management of dysrhythmias
- IV insulin protocols
- Titration of insulin drips
- Central line care and management
- Peripheral line care and management
- Available to work every other weekend; Sundays are not considered weekends at the facility
- Ability to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed
