About The Position

The Registered Nurse Float Pool delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical standards and evidence-based protocols. The nurse implements patient care plans, proactively monitors patient status, and documents progress to support optimal outcomes. The role coordinates multidisciplinary teams, facilitates communication and integrated treatment, and accurately carries out physician and nursing orders. The nurse also leads discharge planning with the health-care team to support safe patient transitions.

The position is based at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, and is scheduled for full-time night work.

Requirements

• Florida Board of Nursing Registered Nurse credential required before hire or job transfer.
• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications are accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
