About The Position
MultiCare is seeking a staff Registered Nurse to join its hospital-based team. The role provides nursing care using specialized training and knowledge in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Nurses at MultiCare participate in clinical decision-making, communicate with colleagues, and are supported in professional development. The position is based at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, a 388-bed acute-care hospital serving Puyallup and East Pierce County.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
- Current BLS Certification.
- Two years of experience in an acute care setting.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
- Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience and reduce costs.
- Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.
- Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
