About The Position

The Registered Nurse in GI/Endoscopy at Mercy Clinic Springfield utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients. The role evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, coordinates patient care with other departments, and protects patient rights and the confidentiality of patient information. Duties and responsibilities must be performed consistently with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing with an Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN.
• Obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure for the state in which nursing duties are performed.
• Meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
