About The Position
Join the Med/Surg team at Lovelace Westside Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a night-shift, part-time Registered Nurse. The RN is responsible and accountable for the practice of professional nursing, including patient care and staff management assigned to the RN. The RN may serve as Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice. The role requires adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Lovelace Westside Hospital serves Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, with a 24-hour emergency department and inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities, including ENT, bariatric, and orthopedic services.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
- Valid New Mexico nursing license or New Mexico compact license within 90 days of hire.
- BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of experience in a specialty.
- Two years of general nursing experience.
