Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Step-Down - Day/Midnight Rotation
About The Position
Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its 35-bed Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. The inpatient unit provides intermediate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients who require nursing interventions every two to four hours. The role is full-time, scheduled for 72 hours per pay period (36 hours per week), and rotates between day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and overnight shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Weekend rotation and holidays are required in accordance with organizational policy. The hourly pay range is $42.11–$67.37. The actual rate offered depends on individual factors, including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications. Requirements
- BSN required, or commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of hire.
- At least one year of nursing experience required.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Delaware.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS required within one year of hire.
