About The Position

Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its 35-bed Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down Unit, 4D. The inpatient unit cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients who require nursing interventions every two to four hours. The role is full-time at 72 hours per pay period, or 36 hours per week, with a rotating schedule covering both day shifts (7 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) and overnight shifts (7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.). Weekend rotation and holidays are required according to internal and organizational policies. The posting lists an hourly pay range of $42.11–$67.37; the actual offer depends on individual skills, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or commitment to obtain one within three years of hire.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Delaware.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
