About The Position
The Newborn Nursery Registered Nurse provides compassionate, expert care to newborns and their families, from initial assessments through discharge. The RN monitors newborns as they transition after birth, performs assessments, and provides stabilization when needed. The role also includes assisting physicians with circumcision procedures and providing post-procedure care. The nurse educates parents about newborn care, feeding, safety, and what to expect after discharge, while helping create a safe and welcoming environment for babies and families.
Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license.
Responsibilities
