About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring Registered Nurses for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions in inpatient rehabilitation. The role provides individualized, compassionate care to support patients’ recovery, rehabilitation goals, and overall healing. Nurses work with patients and families, coordinate care with other departments, and help patients achieve recovery milestones. The position is part of a national post-acute care organization with more than 150 locations and a team of 36,000 employees.

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments.
• Lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients and their families and understand their needs to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate with various departments to coordinate care.
• Provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff regarding complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate patients’ victories and milestones.
