About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital in Huntersville, North Carolina. The assignment is a 13-week travel contract, scheduled for night shifts three times per week, from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., for 36 hours per week. The start date is November 23, 2026. One opening is available. First-time travelers are accepted, and contracts are limited to 36 hours per week. The community Emergency Department is stroke- and chest-pain-certified.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license or compact multistate RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current NIHSS certification.
- Current PALS certification.
- Current MOAB certification; the facility offers a class.
- 2–3 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide Emergency Department nursing care, including triage.
- Perform IV starts.
- Provide telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia management.
- Assist with conscious sedation.
