Registered Nurse - PICU - Travel - $1,944/week - Wilmington, NC (Nights)
About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) role at an acute care hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina. This is a 13-week travel contract with one opening, beginning November 30, 2026. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., for 36 hours per week. Estimated travel pay is $1,944 per week; the local pay rate is $43.73 per hour for local candidates. VitalHire provides weekly direct deposit and a dedicated recruiter from submission through the nurse’s last shift. The company also assists with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license or compact multistate RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current PALS certification.
- At least 2 years of recent PICU experience.
- Prior travel experience required.
