About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU), which focuses on Renal Transplant, Urology, Peritoneal Dialysis, Pulmonary Hypertension, and related specialties. The hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. It is also a Magnet-designated hospital and one of eight nationally accredited Pulmonary Hypertension Centers in Texas. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center was ranked #1 in the United States on the 2023 Fortune/PINC AI Top 100 Hospitals list. This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week on the day shift, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is paid in three installments over 12 months.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing; specialized field of study should be nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active RN license.
- At least 6 months of RN experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer; certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA).
