About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides patient care in Mercy Hospital Ardmore’s 12-bed Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit. The role uses the nursing process, maintains professional accountability for assigned patients, evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, and coordinates care with other departments. The nurse also protects patient rights and confidentiality and performs duties in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

The position is PRN on weekends, Friday through Sunday. The role may include serving as a resource for peers or taking on advanced clinical responsibilities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Obtain and maintain a current RN license (state or compact) and meet all state Board of Nursing requirements.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), or complete it within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
