About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. This role involves caring for medically complex adult patients, including those requiring ventilator weaning, wound care, and specialized nursing interventions.
Requirements
- Active South Carolina RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- At least 1 year of Epic experience required
Nice To Haves
- Minimum experience in LTAC or related specialty preferred
- Experience with Omnicell medication system preferred
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to LTAC patients
- Manage patients with tracheostomies, PEG tubes, and complex medical conditions
- Assist with ventilator weaning and respiratory care
- Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
- Administer medications and treatments using electronic systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float between units as needed based on patient census
