About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse to join an acute care hospital team. This role focuses on comprehensive wound assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of care for patients with complex wound needs.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state required)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
- Wound care certification required (WCON or equivalent)
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong clinical skills in wound assessment and treatment
Nice To Haves
- Epic experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and manage acute and chronic wounds
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient healing outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical records
- Educate patients and staff on wound care best practices
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and infection control standards
