About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s), the RN provides patient education and activities within their competencies and education. The position calls for excellent communication and critical-thinking skills to support optimal patient outcomes. This role is PRN and scheduled for days.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Maintain current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment.
- Be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
- Reside in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one year of clinic experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assessing patients and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary.
- Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
- Count controlled substances and carry out clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting as required by policy.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
- Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, health care unit supervisory personnel, and other staff as necessary.
