About The Position

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of resident care to meet residents’ total needs and maintain care in accordance with state and federal law and community policies and procedures. This is a part-time night position scheduled every other Sunday and every other Wednesday, with a night differential. The posted pay range is $42.00 to $50.00 per hour. Requirements

Colorado Registered Nursing License in good standing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Advanced training in geriatrics preferred.
One year of experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate resident status with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, family members, and others as appropriate.
Listen to concerns from residents, families, or physicians; initiate corrective action or report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Attend resident care conferences and maintain accurate, relevant resident care plans.
Prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders; order medications as needed and ensure expired medications are replaced.
Document patient care issues appropriately and report them to personnel as required.
Recognize and identify signs and symptoms, using initiative and sound judgment to select appropriate treatments or procedures.
Provide immediate supervision and direction to ancillary personnel and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned.
