About The Position

PTMW, Inc. is seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join its manufacturing team. The role is responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials within the facility, helping maintain production flow and support manufacturing operations. The schedule is 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M., Sunday through Tuesday, plus every other Wednesday. The job is located at PTMW Inc. in Topeka, Kansas, and is full-time.

Requirements

• Forklift operation experience.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills for dealing with internal and external customers.
• Self-motivated and conscientious worker.
• Ability to work flexible hours, early or late depending on company needs, including some Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification.
• Inventory control and warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and products to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Maintain storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Assure inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently, avoiding damage to products, equipment, or infrastructure.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean and maintain equipment and the work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of production as needed or assigned.
