About The Position

The Lodge at Truitt Homestead is seeking a server to create memorable dining experiences and exceed guest expectations. The server joins a culinary team serving senior residents and guests, and must be enthusiastic and compassionate about providing excellent dining experiences. The position requires working independently. The listed schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and every other weekend. The Lodge offers flexible scheduling options and no late evenings.

Requirements

• Interest in working with a senior population.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in fine dining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take meal and drink orders.
• Serve meals in a timely and friendly manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals.
• Explain daily specials and menu items.
• Clean and set up the dining room.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
