Registered Nurse (RN) IV Therapy - 32 hours/week, day shift
About The Position
Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced vascular access Registered Nurse to join a collaborative IV Therapy team. The nurse will provide vascular access care for patients of all ages, from infants to older adults. The role includes placement, care, and maintenance of peripheral IVs; care and maintenance of central lines; nasogastric tube (NGT) placement; and peripheral phlebotomy. Applicants must be competent in ultrasound-guided PICC and midline placement. This position is 32 hours per week on the day shift and is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The listed base hourly pay range is $37.00–$84.71, with compensation governed by the applicable agreement. Staff must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
Requirements
- Experience as a vascular access registered nurse.
- Competence in ultrasound-guided PICC and midline placement.
- Influenza vaccination, required as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide vascular access care for patients ranging from infants to older adults.
- Place, care for, and maintain peripheral IVs.
- Care for and maintain central lines.
- Place nasogastric tubes (NGTs).
- Perform peripheral phlebotomy.
- Place PICCs and midlines using ultrasound guidance.
