Remote Registered Nurse
About The Position
Turing is seeking experienced registered nurses with expertise in nursing care, patient assessment, and clinical documentation, particularly in hospital or outpatient care settings. The role involves using clinical expertise and healthcare knowledge on projects that fine-tune large language models (LLMs). No prior AI experience is required. The projects are intended to help improve AI systems’ clinical reasoning, decision support, and patient communication. The work includes designing and solving nursing and patient-care scenarios to test AI reasoning, writing structured explanations about triage, treatment planning, care coordination, and nursing protocols, and working with AI researchers to improve models’ understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and clinical judgment. Nurses will also assess AI responses for accuracy, clinical soundness, and adherence to evidence-based care models. This is a remote contractor/freelancer assignment. Projects are approximately one month long, with the possibility of extension, and may potentially be full-time. Compensation varies by project. Candidates must not share confidential or proprietary information, trade secrets, specific client or case details, or other information restricted by confidentiality obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing qualification.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical or hospital environment.
- Active RN license in the U.S. or equivalent jurisdictional certification.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to explain clinical reasoning clearly and accurately.
Responsibilities
