Registered Nurse - Pre-op

About The Position
Coordinates all activities for the PAT (Pre-Admission Testing) phase of surgical services. Provides age-specific care and monitors and recognizes changes in physiological status. Promotes the hospital's mission and vision by helping create an environment of teamwork and excellence in meeting the healthcare needs of the community. Reports to the Perioperative Nurse Manager and the Director of Perioperative Services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Previous pre-op or medical-surgical experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Emotional maturity and ability to function effectively under stress.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
- BLS/ACLS certification upon hire.
- Complete and maintain required annual competencies per hospital policy.
