About The Position

VIVA Talent Solutions’ internal PRN program connects registered nurses with opportunities to support residents and nursing teams across its communities. The role is suited to nurses who bring clinical confidence, compassion, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude. Nurses may support coverage across assigned communities, including travel or floating as needed.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved registered nursing program.
• A current RN license valid in the state where the nurse will provide care.
• Nursing skills, sound clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm when priorities shift.
• A team-player attitude and a caring, compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ health needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide compassionate nursing care and administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
• Recognize changes in residents’ conditions, take appropriate nursing action, and promptly communicate with providers and care team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care, and resident responses.
• Collaborate with providers, therapists, nursing staff, and other care team members to coordinate care.
• Provide direction, delegation, and supervision appropriate to the assignment and applicable nursing standards.
• Help residents and families understand care plans, treatments, and changes in health needs.
• Follow infection prevention practices and promote a safe, comfortable environment.
• Respect residents’ rights, privacy, preferences, and independence.
• Support coverage across assigned communities, including travel or floating as needed.
• Follow professional standards, applicable regulations, and company policies.
