Registered Nurse (No Weekends) | 3-day Schedule
About The Position
Pinnacle Specialty Care, a 100-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Cedar Falls, Iowa, is hiring Registered Nurses for full-time and part-time schedules. Available schedules are three days per week, with no weekends, working either 2 p.m.–2 a.m. or 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Registered Nurses provide compassionate nursing care to residents, support unit operations, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams. The role follows clinical, regulatory, infection-control, safety, and facility standards.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in good standing, valid in Iowa or able to be activated in Iowa.
- Current, valid CPR certification.
- Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
- Commitment to helping others and treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
- Support daily clinical operations on the unit while ensuring quality care and resident safety.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
- Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
- Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
- Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and compliance protocols.
