About The Position
In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging nursing position, the Registered Nurse works with multidisciplinary team members to provide patients with the best care. The role is central to patient-centered care and calls for compassion and a commitment to improving the patient experience. Through clear communication and relationship-building, the nurse promotes a collaborative environment, remains accountable for performance, takes initiative for professional growth, and contributes to building a winning team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current nursing license eligible to practice in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification from the American Heart Association or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC), required within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
