About The Position
Join Harborview Medical Center's as a Psychiatry Registered Nurse. Harborview Medical Center is a Level I Adult and Pediatric trauma center as well as regional burn center for a four-state region; a teaching and research hospital for the University of Washington; and a public/safety-net hospital for our diverse community. Working in the Psych Emergency Service unit is a unique opportunity for a psych nurse looking to take on the challenge of something different every day.
Requirements
- Graduated from a accredited school of nursing
- Have/obtain a WA state nursing license to practice
- One or more years in psych nursing or acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Assist patients who arrive at the Emergency Room in Psychiatric crisis.
- Maintain a safe environment, as one of their primary tasks.
- Patient assessment, and triage.
Benefits
- BSN or Higher premium $1.00/hr.
- Certification premium $1.25/hr
- Weekend shift differential $4.00/hr
- Over time pay
- Relocation available
