Registered Nurse - Acute Rehab
About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Acute Rehab department delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and directs and guides patient and family teaching, as well as the activities of other nursing personnel, while maintaining standards of care in the Physical Rehabilitation Department. The nurse is directly responsible and accountable for care provided to assigned patients, responds quickly and accurately to changes in a patient’s condition or response to treatment, and maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Current and valid State RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Responsibilities
