About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg department at Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, Ok. The position is part-time and involves night shifts. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient conditions, serve as a primary coordinator for patient care across disciplines, and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
