About The Position
Methodist Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to join its Observation team. The RN manages episodes of patient care in partnership with patients, caregivers, groups, and other providers to achieve the shared goal of safe, quality health care. Care may be provided directly by the RN or through coordination and supervision of care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. The schedule is 0.9 FTE, with straight overnight 12-hour shifts and every third weekend.
Requirements
- Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing.
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- A BSN is preferred and generally expected to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure patient safety.
