Registered Nurse Observation
About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Observation Med Surg department at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. The position is full-time, day shift, and offers a sign-on bonus of up to $12,000.00. The nurse will deliver high-quality direct nursing care by executing physician orders and clinical protocols to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment. They will also serve as the central clinical coordinator for the multidisciplinary team, managing care plan implementation and providing real-time patient updates. Additionally, the nurse will facilitate seamless transitions through the healthcare system by assessing discharge needs and collaborating with the team to prepare patients for their next stage of recovery.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
