About The Position

The Registered Nurse will join the fast-paced, expanding BMT Outpatient Infusion Unit, providing clinical care, coordination, and patient education for people undergoing stem cell transplant and cellular therapy. The schedule is 40 hours per week, working four 10-hour shifts. Work is primarily on weekdays, with some weekend and holiday rotation according to unit policy.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in New York.
• At least 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Experience in hematology/oncology.
• ONC certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions.
• Provide comprehensive patient education and care coordination.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Use strong communication skills to support patient care and team dynamics.
• Apply independent critical thinking and multitasking to manage a dynamic patient workload.
