About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide acute-care dialysis in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. The role involves working directly with patients in ICU, CCU, the emergency department, and other acute-care units, in close collaboration with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. Nurses may work in a variety of hospital units and rotate between facilities as needed. The schedule includes regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays, and daily schedules may change according to patient needs. The position will be open for a minimum of three days. Compensation depends on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. DaVita offers a competitive total rewards package. Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by participating hospitals, potentially including a booster when eligible.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
ICU, CCU, emergency room, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
CNN or CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
Monitor patients, adjust treatments, and ensure quality outcomes.
Support and oversee patient care with the help of patient care technicians (PCTs).
Adapt to a dynamic hospital environment.
